The story gets more and more strage as time goes on (i promise im not making this stuff up)

Today as you know my pc booted up fine with no warning - However i went to turn on my flatmates as i needed access at one point and what do you know he had the warning screen!

Now this is weird bec for 2-3 days he has been fine with not one warning. We have very similar setups except he is running a 21 muti at 3.9ghz and is running the ram at lower speeds. Even though ive already tested with odd multis on mine it made no difference

Either way, we WILL work this out - I will NOT be beaten :D

P.S. Obvioulsy with your help lol ;)

Edit? If i use an odd multi (x21) can i not just use XMP to still get 1600mhz on the ram? Or is using XMP a bit like leaving voltages on auto?

I see theres another new BIOS out, wonder what the changes are. If i get another warning screen ill prob update and retest

Update: Both mine and my flatmates pc turned on today with no problems, no changes have been made to the BIOS's either (not since yesterday)

No warning screen, just a normal boot....

Not final F6? Thats buggy from what i hear.

Im on F6 Test 1 from HiCookie, though if i get that stupid screen again ill be going to F7c (think thats the latest IIRC0 though so far ive had 2 days with no warning.... though nor me or my flatmate have made it a full week yet so time will tell.

I advise you do NOT use XMP. Set things yourself manually.

So what, now they both are fine?

Well its hard to say. So far

Flatmates pc: Some days it wont show, some days it will.... (the warning screen) problem is, when i make changes to his one, it will be fine for a few days then show a warning. Currently has been fine for 2 days

My PC: Has always had the warning screen, however every day i make a couple of changes in BIOS and test again, for the last 2 days my pc has booted up in the morning with NO warning screen.

If mine displays the warning screen again, ill prob test out the new BIOS, F7c and see how that goes.

Ahh ok, well thanks for the info and update.

I'd go ahead with the new BIOS now, but that is up to you and I know you may not want to since things are working ok now, that's fine too! Whatever is currently working I suppose should be left alone on this thread.

I also have heard several times F6 Final is buggy, at a few places. I always stick to Beta's myself, if I don't like the current latest beta I will go back to the last previous one I like.

I never use Final BIOSes personally.
