    Default P55A UD4P wont boot with team extreme lv 2000mhz

    Hi All,
    I have a problem with my P55A UD4P.
    Iam using F8 Bios revision

    my pc specs are
    cpu = i5750 @4ghz
    vga = gtx260
    ram = team extreme lv 2000mhz 4gb kit
    mobo = gigabyte p55a ud4p bios f8
    psu = amacrox 750watt modular
    hdisk = wdc black 1tera
    sound card = xfi fatality pro series
    cpu cooler = noctua nhu-12p dual fan

    my setting is
    i5 750 @ 4ghz
    v-core 1.27volt
    vtt = 1.25volt
    VDimm= auto
    Bclk= 200
    Multiplier = 10
    All Cpu feature like eist,turboost,c1, is disable

    The problem:
    My memory , which is Team Extreme LV 2000mhz series 9-9-9-24 4gbkit,
    can't boot at all ,
    if i set the memory timing manual, (I have to set the timing to auto to make it boot)
    Also There is some feature in bios at memory section which called "Performance enchance"
    If i set it to normal, it won't boot . i must set it to turbo to make it boot at 2000mhz.
    It Can only boot with 1600mhz memory clock (maximum value) if i set the memory timing manual, if i go above 1600, it wont boot.

    or is there any mistake with my setting

    try with 1.30000 qpi voltage,are you setting your dram voltage to 1.66??? if not try with 1.250000 qpi and 1.66 dram voltage before you try 1.30000 qpi

    same with me !!!

    i hv p55a-ud4p and team xtreem PC16000 won't run at 2000mhz if i choose manual (set to extreem).
    if i choose auto, system can boot normaly,

    i set x.m.p, auto timming, adjust volt ram, qpi, vcore, but nothing TT

    Auto boots for you guys because it is using very loose timings.

    Please give us your settings in full from a template in my signature. To run 2000Mhz memory speed you will need much more QPI/Vtt, often 1.4-1.5+

    i read somewhere that said don't use more than 1.25volt for daily use

    iya bro gue hugoboss hehehe
    I use 1.4-1.44 QPI/Vtt for the past 1-2 years, since i7 came out and I dont have any issues. It is all up to you though, some 2000Mhz+ memory comes with default XMP Settings of 1.5+ QPI/Vtt, how safe that is for 24/7 use not sure?

    See my post here on QPI/Vtt voltage though
    QPI/Vtt Voltage post (High is OK)

    More than 1.25 is for sure safe though, you can use 1.3-1.4 anytime, more is up to you to decide, but like I said I have been using 1.4+ for a year or more on several setups and no issues.

    K, just checking was all.

    Don't just jump to 1.4 QPI/Vtt, move up in small amounts, you may not need that much but then again you may need more. But just don't jump right into it, unless you wanna (I do, but hey that's me)
