    Try References 1-3 steps below/above default(0.76 @ 12v VTT), then increase VTT and try again, and so on.
    Vcore also has a part in this game and best kept above VTT.

    Ah, Chike - I've always kept VTT at least .1 under my CPU Vcore.

    Right now I'm going to try -
    CPU Vcore @ 1.3375v
    CPU Term. @ 1.220v
    MCH Core @ 1.24v
    MCH Ref @ .812v (I did one notch above .76v, which is .80v, then I put CPU Term. to 1.220v and the MCH Ref scaled to .812v)

    So, the suggestion to use MCH Ref between .68v and .72v when VTT is at 1.20v does not have to be followed? I'm guessing that the values that work best will vary from board to board, and configuration?

    I just flashed to the FE BIOS today also.

    If the first step up or down make it worse there is no point tryin more at that direction.
    But you may need to try afjusting CPU Reference as well. With quad you probably need more VTT.
    Of course every system is different. Even identical configurations may vary because electrical components has value tolerance however small.

    The above settings let me get prime95 longer before core #4 had epic failure (rounding error).

    I'm now running prime95 blend with these settings -

    CPU Vcore @ 1.35v
    CPU Term. @ 1.240v
    MCH Core @ 1.24v
    MCH Ref @ .825v (I did one notch above .76v, which is .80v, then I put CPU Term. to 1.240v and the MCH Ref scaled to .825v)

    Using the below settings I was able to do prime95 blend for ~10 hours with no errors -

    CPU Vcore @ 1.35v
    CPU Term. @ 1.240v
    MCH Core @ 1.24v
    MCH Ref @ .825v (I did one notch above .76v, which is .80v, then I put CPU Term. to 1.240v and the MCH Ref scaled to .825v)





    I've settled with this OC @ 3.8Ghz but now I'd like to start working on the other Ref voltages.

    Do you follow a similar method when setting CPU Ref? Is there a way to tweak your Channel A & B DRAM Reference? What about DRAM Termination?

    Sorry to bombard with questions but I'm working on finding the sweet spot for this OC on all voltages across the board. I've heard doing this may allow you to lower CPU Vcore and possibly lower voltages all across the board.

    Yes the CPU same method as MCH Reference.
    There's no reason to rweak anything if you are stable, the ram references would probably never need to be tweaked.
    What are IBT temps and GFlops for max stress level?

    I get 24.8 GFlops at 3.8GHz, I don't expect the quad to do double but a little more... say 44-46 GFlops, what is vcore and is LLC enabled?
    What are memry speed timings and tRD?

    CPU vcore at idle is 1.312v and under prime95 blend it is 1.264 (vdroop?). I do not have LLC enabled.


    Memory is in 1:1 896Mhz 5-5-5-15 CR2 @ 2.0v with a tRD of 9

    I could see that, what is it set in BIOS? Try to enable it and see if GFLops improve.
