What should I start using for my CPU Clock Skew (ps) & MCH Clock Skew (ps)?? Think I need more than 1.26v on the MCH?

    Lsdmeasap,

    Whatsup!

I've been reading about clock skews - Adjusting them can help with overclocking?

I understand that clock skews are independent from the motherboard. You can't give your clock skew settings to anyone with the same motherboard since it is in fact NOT the same motherboard.

Is there any method to tweaking clock skews?

    /edit

    Just found -
"CPU / NB skews takes hours to find because they change with different fsb or strap.. it's a pain but can fully stabilize a no-boot case"

They are really only needed at high clocks, such as 500/550+ FSB, and even then they may or may not be needed.

Only helps with stability, not really with getting there.

The only way to mess with them is tinker around until you find some that work for you, do keep in mind there is also memory ones per channel too... Just to add to your fun

You probably do not need to set any of them though

Thanks a bunch for your response. I'm going to test for stability tonight. Hopefully its rock solid ;~P

I think I'm very close to being 100% stable for 12+ hours. I just did a Prime95 Blend last night for ~8 hours no errors on all cores @ 4Ghz.

I increased VTT to 1.30v with CPU Vcore @ 1.41875v - MCH Ref is scaled to .867v (.80 @ 1.2 vtt - one notch up)

Do you think CPU PLL @ 1.59v is adequate?
