    Default [SOLVED] Ex58-UD5 + 2xEVGA GTX260 = Code 43

I got another card to match my existing GTX260. When I installed it, Windows stops the device in device manager with a device status of Code 43 (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43))

Things that Ive done so far:
Ive tested out each card separately in both the top and middle PCI-E slots, and they both work fine.
I swapped the power cables between the two cards
Ive installed the latest WHQL drivers and the WHQL drivers before the current release.
Ive flash the BIOS on both cards.
Ive tried 2 different SLI connectors
Ive tried both cards in different configurations (swapped PCI-E slots)
Ive disabled my OC to see if that made a difference. It did not.

So far I have not found a solution. EVGA says if both cards run fine individually, its most likely not the cards and said it may be the motherboard. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

SLI can be a bit fiddly.
you may want to try Installing both cards, starting without using the SLI bridge, allowing the OS to install the drivers for each, then turning off the system and trying it with the SLI bridge.

Is your UD5 on bios F12? you may want to consider going back a few version to see if it fixes the problem (F11 / F10)

Thanks for the help. I fixed it actually

MSConfig > Normal Startup. Apparently a service was disabled (dont know what), that caused it to fail. Stupid /facepalm
