This RAM is still rock solid after 2 days of multiple boots and an overnight cold boot (still knocking on wood).

    Patriot Extreme Performance Viper Series DDR3 6GB (3 x 2GB) PC3-12800 Low Latency Triple Channel Kit (8-8-8-24) 1600
    Part #: PVT36G1600LLK

It was $180 Canadian (which is about par with USD these days) after a $20 rebate

With the G.Skill RAM, it was nothing but problems.

    Cheers,
    Stain

While you wait on your new memory, you may want to try adjusting this.

Your CPU, or the memory, may need more. First, be sure you are manually setting uncore, set it to at least 2x memory multi or 1-2 above.

    Then disable XMP

Then try 1.34-1.4 QPI/Vtt with dram voltage set to 1.66

Well i received my ram about an hour ago. So far so good. Each boot has been detected and it even picked up the XMP profile with no issues. it seems the Low latency ram may be the key to this issue. I have booted about 10-15 times in the last hour and no issues. Touch wood that when i get homme i can do another cold boot and have the same results

ill probably organize a RMA with Gskill and test out the replacements and sell them on EBay otherwise my corsairs will have effectively cost me ~$600 so if i can get around 180-200 for a working set of the Gskills ill be happy. Got them for 222 australian.

I have had the ram for 2 weeks so im well past the 7day return policy,

Nice to hear it is working well now!

Hopefully this will be fixed for Kalidav as well once he gets a chance to try some different memory
