Upped the QPI to 1.4V and it's now stable in Prime95 at 1700MHz. I'm keeping an eye out on the ram registering but this boot has been good.

I'm currently running at 21x170MHz = 3570MHz; I'm guessing that program is reporting higher because of TurboBoost (22x170MHz). I still need to see if all 6GB of memory is registering consistently then I'm keen to tighten the timings :)

Just had a BSOD while browsing the net which is odd because it was fine while playing games and Prime95 earlier. It was 0x0000001A.

Do you think the F6b beta BIOS that was linked in another thread help with my issues?

I'm using F5 which is the latest on their website. I just rebooted and the memory is missing again so should I try F6b?

yeah flash using q-flash http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/12...8aud3r.F6b.zip make a note of your overclock settings before you flash, and untick keep dmi pool data and tick load optimized defaults, then once flashed re-enter your overclock settings

Let us know how you get along, as you can see this is easily fixed with proper settings, you just have to dial them in and find the correct ones is all.

Very well could still be the pins on your intermittent issues though, take any pics yet? Also CPU mounting pressure can sometimes cause this as well, so if you have screw mounts be sure it is tight (Not overly tight) and even on all four screws.

Pics of your socket pins would be great though, then we could rule that out if you do not have bent pins at all.

Took a couple of photos. The computer's open right next to me so just let me know if you need a different angle or anything. The odd pin is near the top left of the socket.

As I mentioned though, I don't really know if I'm confident enough to get in there and actually fix anything but yeah... >.<
