No, that is not what I meant. EVERY fan header is populated with a fan. Only one [other than the PSU which is not connected to a header] is showing up on Everest. This is the way it has been since I set up the board and has remained so. The third fan 'showing' is also not connected to a header and is on the video board. i.e. only one board header is reporting, despite fans on every one.

Then, as you suggested.... your board may be at fault. An as was asked... are you using the trial version of Everest? Also, if you haven't you could try HW Monitor - CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

    Good luck

Everest is a full version, not Beta. If the board is at fault is there anyway to make sure. This is NOT the biggest problem, but annoying. I have a bigger problem now...that I hope has a logical solution. I have a hot swap bay and in it I am building a Win 7 64 bit drive [though software for it is few and far between!]....but the problem is that when I'm using that drive [Win 7 - 64 bit] as the 'C' drive running the computer it will NOT see into any XP drives. It shows that they are there and gives their size correctly, but I can not look into them with explorer, nor access any of the files..what is causing this?!? Thanks all.

are you signed in win7 as administrator? it should let you open the xp drives and ask for permission then click yes and then you can read-write to that disk

Sorry for the late reply on this, I did some testing for you the other day and just got back around to give you my results.

I found SYS_Fan3 is the only one on UD7 with a sensor pin that is not reported, all others are, I even tested it (Sys 3) by itself with no change from the below results.

This is with a fan on every header:

What BIOS are you using? I am using F7p

Do you have the latest Chipset drivers installed, and all windows updates? Are you using a modified BIOS?

I'm very new to Win 7, but think i am signing in as Administrator. There is only one account and I believe it is...how would I know? Anyway, all other drives are mentioned, but can not be accessed on the computer.

Open user accounts, does it say you are an admin?

Anything you need to run as admin anyway, even if you are not admin, just right click and choose run as admin. Ohh sorry, just noticed your issue is not an app.

Sounds like you are not admin though, so lets change that.

Click on the start menu, then your user image. Then choose change your account type, choose admin and you should be done

I am in Vista right now so I am not sure if that is correct for win7, so it might be a little different.

Hope that will get you there though if not I can verify in win7 later or someone else will tell you before I do how to change it.

Yes, I am definitely the Administrator. I've tried a number of things and still no way to look into or access anything on a non Win 7 64 bit disk on this computer from this [Win 7 64 bit] disk. Could there be some files from the GB disk I've not installed? For me it is a bit hard to know which get installed the OS and which to the board itself....but I think I got them correct...but obviously not....

...while I'm having some problems, I can say for sure, with this board, this processor and this memory in 64 bit it is ****ing fast and incredible in what it can do!......although I can't get a lot of programs to run!... Sandra rates the computer as very high on its benchmarks......things just move along at fantastic speeds.....but what I can really move along with seems very limited at the moment.... anyhow - amazing, so far....I'm about to install some very processor-intensive programs....for image processing etc.

Do you have Intel Chipset drivers installed? Here is the latest
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Prod...?ProductID=816

What ports do you have your OS and this issue drive connected to, color and #?
