Default Keyboard issue in DOS with EP45-UD3L(R) latest F10 bios

Hi, discovered this strange issue maybe this will help someone.

    Motherboard EP45-UD3LR, Bios F10 (latest)
USB or PS2 connected keyboards won't work in DOS if SATA control mode is set to AHCI in bios.
In order to make them work need to switch to IDE.
    Very annoying.

This is with USB support KB/Mouse support enabled right, and Legacy Storage Detect? Just checking to be sure.

If it is enabled, please send in a report and ask them to forward your findings to the BIOS Engineers. Be sure you tell them exactly what BIOS version you are having this issue with.

USB Keyboard and Mouse is also enabled right, as well as USB Storage? Just checking to be sure.

If so go ahead and send in a issue report to the above link and ask them to forward to the BIOS Engineers, this is something they would need to correct.

OK, I see you did. Let us know what they tell you, likely they will send you beta BIOS or you will have to wait for the next beta to be released and see if it corrects things.

If this is a major problem for you then you may want to try a few older BIOSes and see if the issue also affects them as well.
