i dont know, memory doesnt overclock very high or with tighter timings, they test each module at the factory and bin them close to what there specced at,you could try though also you might need slightly more qpi voltage with cas 8 timings,

yeah, i'll keep the memory at spec, at least i know it works at that rate. i'll down tune the qpi though..

oh ok :).. so i made a good choice to go for 1866 spec'd memory instead of CAS8 then...

what are you at now? 4ghz? n yh 1866mhz is plenty,i like to sit at 3.8ghz so i can use all my ram speed 1800mhz any higher and i have to underclock the ram alot, did you set your ram with 1t command rate or 2T?? 1T would be better

got vcore to 1.225 and Command Rate to 1T.. so now 9-9-9-24-1T.. qpi is still 1.34..

btw.. why does DRAM Voltage have to be at 1.66V?

theres no 1.65 in the bios options, its just the way gigabyte label it,it actually uses 1.65 in windows which is what most ram is rated at.qpi v is about right with that speed ram and cpu clock, you could try for lower but you might get blue screens idk
