Thanks for posting your findings and settings, hopefully they might help someone later on.

So how much does the MCH Read ODT value change using standard vs extreme?

Finally! Someone that has encountered the same issues with this ram like me!

I'll give these settings a try. My ram would become unstable after running the computer always on for a good 2 weeks or so.

The only way I could eliminate the problem was to bump the settings to 5-5-5-18 at 1.8v.

I have the exact same model of RAM.

    @ Sharpbiohazard

If you are using them on your P45-UD3R check my signature for my review on these, I posted several sets of settings for various speeds on P45 boards.

They should work much easier for you on P45 than they were for the OP here with P43

Did a mistake here. That value is not affected by Performance Enhance. Sorry for the misleading.

Now i am testing a theory of mine that phase adjust should be set manually to their auto values. I mean that the problem is not the value but the fact that it is set to auto. Is there a possibility that this values are changing automatically whilst OS running? (Thats a rhetorical question)

Ahh ok, thanks for the heads up.

I think once those are set manually, or chosen by Auto they remain the same after the BIOS hands things over to the OS.

If you are not manually setting tRD Value then it may make things difficult for you to test, if auto tRD changes I mean. You should set tRD Value manually for sure, then test various phase adjustments, and those normally make tRD -1 depending on how you change the phase adjusts.

So really, if you use tRD 7 for example and you find a phase adjust value of +1 helps, then you need to either use a higher tRD value and set the phase adjust back to auto.

For both channels the values should all match up, if they are not then your memory sticks may be faulty a bit, or have different IC's used in them, something, ect. They should all match though if the sticks are the exact same IC's, at they speeds we are talking about here anyway.

    Hello again.
In the end I didnt find a solution. The combination of GA-EP43-DS3L and Crucial Ballistix BL2KIT25664AA80A is definitely unstable for me. I bought a set of Transcend JM4GDDR2-8K to replace the Ballistix. No problems since using default spd settings under bios version F9e from the site.

    Cya!
