I have not heard of the faulty sensor issue with i7, but I suppose it is possible.

Thanks for thinking about that, maybe he should run a sensor test with realtemp and show us the results!

Ya I knew Dual/Quad 775's got it often, especially the newer ones.

Download RealTemp and run the Sensor Movement Test and show us your results Tongerks, if the results are low then you might have stuck sensors

Real Temp - CPU temperature monitoring

Performing the full test using Prime95 will allow you to see what temp it is sticking at, or how bad it is, if it is sticking. It will take 10 minutes to run though

    Well no stuck sensor.

You say your CPU is fine in another similar board right? Is that with your cooler and setup? If so your board might be faulty somehow, let me know if you need the RMA page

    Thanks!

No you would need to go another route for RMA there.

Send an email to the closest contact to your area listed here in the dropout menu
    GIGABYTE

Or contact the place you purchased and ask, because you may have to RMA through them anyway

what reason should i give because the shop that i bought this is not knowledgeable in this kind of issue they're depending on what the manufacturer recommendations.. so what reason should i give to them?
