    Default What is ACS-6xxxx

This has shown as bad from the beginning. I have tried updating the driver. MS tried a new driver. I used another piece of software and it says the status code is 10 - can't start.

Same software identifies it as pci - pci bridge. What do I loose with this broken?

Any idea how to make this work?

    What motherboard are you using?

Did you already install up to date chipset drivers downloaded from Gigabyte's site or direct from the source?

    GA P55A-UD7

I tried the Austec download. Running their installation file says it can't find the controller.

Tried driver install and it said I already had a newer version even though I had uninstalled the driver.

Could not find the file on NEC site.

Did you check the box to delete the drivers when you uninstalled it via device manager, you must do that and then install this without doing a "scan for new hardware"

Different file then linked at asus site
    ftp://download.gigabyte.ru/driver/mo...river_usb3.exe

Then when you are done you can update the firmware with this
    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/...02108FWUP5.zip

I think the main thing you need do make sure you do is to make sure you choose "Delete Driver" when you uninstall the device a show below

Then as soon as you do that install the driver above in the first link

Thank you. That fixed it. I now have an entry for the NEC controller in the programs on the start menu. Unfortunately when I tried "configure" it said it could not find the host controller. But looking at device manager it all seems to be doing its' thing now.

    Great to hear!!

Hmm, where are you trying configure from? Just wondering, I know in my start menu NEC Folder I have USB Host controller utility, but when I click that it just opens a small windows that shows information nothing to configure anywhere.
