I would like some help optimizing my ram timings to squeeze what ever else i can out of my ram. I would prefer to use the settings for 2000 ram if they are still in the 24/7 safe range. Also what is B2B cas delay? Is that like performance level in the p45 boards?

B2B is like TRD, 4 is the best value you can use and performance decreases from there as you raise it

2000Mhz for daily use on 920/930 CPU is not ideal, as you can see you have to use a very large amount of Vtt. I would stick with slower speeds but tighter timings, that way you are not running 1.55 QPI 24/7, as it is not very healthy to use for long periods.

What you could try though, if you want to keep at it, is set 1.68-1.7 Dram voltage, then use less QPI/Vtt, like try 1.45-1.475 QPI/Vt with 1.7 Dram voltage. Still not ideal, but it may help you get the QPI down past 1.5

    Everything looks good!

What you can do on both is play with B2B CAS Delay. your 1600 set is likely using 4 already, best you can use, so enable that and test to be sure.

As for the 2000, you can try enabling that, but set higher than 4, such as 6-10, and that might allow you to stablize the memory at that speed and use less voltage if you can get it going by my suggestions above. You want to try it the other way first though, as using a higher B2B hinders performance

Ok so the other day I decided to try pushing max bclk. So I loaded my stable 4.2 settings with 1600 ram. I dropped cpu multi down to x15 ram multi down to x6 and uncore to x13. Then I started to push bclk from 200 to 205, 210, 215. Once I hit 215 the system would boot into windows and pass 10 rounds of LinX using 1024 mb ram. I then rebooted and the system would not post.. Debug code was C1. Press and hold the power button to shut it down and then turn it back on again and renter bios and get the O.C fail red box. So thought maybe it was just acting stupid I leave the settings as is press f10 and the system passes post and boots into windows. So I ran another 10 passes of LinX which it passed. Rebooted again and same thing it would not boot with C1 code. I then shut the system down press the clear CMOS button and start over maybe something got messed up. Same thing everything was cool untill i hit 215 bclk. I can go past 215 as I am sitting at 220

Any suggestion on what I could be missing that will allow the system to reboot and post?

think I figured it out... I had to set vcore manually instead of using dynamic vcore.

Nice to see you found the issue, I was about to ask for your settings and that would have been one thing I for sure would have said to set manually.

Did you hard mod your board? Just wondering, if you have not you wont be able to run past 222-223 Bclk
