Well I told you previously I think. Which advanced timings are you not sure about?

    These?
    Advanced Timing Control
    tRRD........................................... 3-4
    tWTR.......................................... 3-6
    tWR............................................ 4-6
    tRFC........................................... 52-62
    tRTP........................................... 3-4
    Command Rate (CMD) ....................:2

    Driving Strength Profiles
    Driving Strength ............................ 1066

No, tRD is Static tRead Value (A+B), it's in each channel's extra timing settings pages that you have to click enter to get into

MCH Latch yes, leave on auto and choose your own memory multi

Ya, then work your way down 1-2 settings at a time.

Sorry for my confusion, I thought I had given you full settings to try, maybe not - Didn't check back in the thread:)

no go. followed your settings to the T and windows failed to load. corrupted drive again. had to do windows restore.

after i set the settings i saved and exited. windows attempted to load but got a screen asking me to repair. i selected repair but it kept looping. forced reset and loaded optimized defaults to repair windows.

i dont know if this could be causing it but i had AHCI enabled for drives instead of IDE. i enabled IDE in legacy mode. didnt try yet to see what you think could be causing this.

    EDIT
    at 440FSB now. 3.9Ghz@ 1.38vcore (1.360 in windows).
im afraid to up the vcore because i dont know if im getting the right temperature readings from my cores. its 20-22c here, and im peaking at 61C with prime95 and 68C with intel burn test. P95 small ftts and intel burn test at maximum.

had a BSOD prior at 420fsb but had vcore at 1.30 then bumped it to 1.38. might go higher depending on how the temps are in games.
side note, intel burn test at maximum gave me an error. Prime96 is running flawlessly so far and fluctuates temps between 55-61 on full load. need 4 120mm fans and ill be good to go ;)

im not sure what the problem was tho with the bsods. maybe the voltage wasnt enough for 450fsb even though im so close now. i started with 1.3vcore and slowly raised fsb. seemed to do the trick to get me semi stable. no more BSODs yay!! :)

Temps so good to me, nice to see you got it going!

No worries, you can use more Vcore still if need be.

Keep tinkering, you will get it!

    cpu vcore 1.36
    cpu termination 1.28
cpu pll 1.59, jumps from 1.57 to 1.59. ill try 1.57 and see how that is.

had to jump vcore to 1.38 but with intel burn test right now im at 71C... ambient temps at 90-95F 32+C (no ac )

IBT just failed. gotta raise something lol

i was looking up information on vcore, vtt and pll.. how do i get these to match? i also read somewhere that one of these if raised helps lower the need for a higher vcore? wasnt too clear on it.

thanks for the help so far :)

Try 1.38-1.4 Vcore, and or 1.3-1.34 Vtt

Pll keep at 1.57 that should be plenty.

You don't want/need those to match at all, just keep Vtt under Vcore is all

does the mch refer nce be lowered? i read that it should be lowered when others are raised? i failed intel burn test at 1.38vcore. gonna vtt at 1.34 and see if i pass. temps are rising though and its only getting hotter outside lol idling at 39, peaking still at 71 with intel burn test. adjusting numbers, rebooting :)

upped vcore from 1.38 to 1.4 and vtt to 1.34, IBT on high temps are peaking at 78C stopped the test lol... ambient temp is reachin 95F- 35C (outside of case)

Keep tinkering, you can do it!

Try Vcore 1.38-1.425, but only 1.3-1.32 Vtt

MCH Ref may need adjusted, see the MCH GTL link in my signature for how to adjust that.

Simple explanation, set Vtt to 1.20, then MCH Ref to desired amount, then raise Vtt back up to desired amount and then test.

Try MCH ref value .68-.74 with various amounts of Vtt
