    it should reduce your cpu speed and temperature when your cpu is idling, is your cpu voltage on normal setting?? it only works on normal voltage or auto voltage(which i dont recommend)

    normal voltages, ddr to 1.5 and qpi/vtt to 1.1

    Didnt work, i got a freeze. am testing now with qpi/vtt set to 1.21 and ram to 1.64, ALL other voltages are to "normal"

    If you don't have any luck set 1.66 Vdimm, that is the closets you will get to 1.65, 1.64 is actually 1.63 or less normally.

    i got a freeze
    i will test with 1.66V and like you said i had 1.63 with 1.64 in bios. but, is there a problem when putting 1.66 as the max for this board is 1.65 ?

    1.66 in the bios will set it to 1.65 in windows its fine

    i tried 1.66v but the problem is that i got 1.66v in windows too and the bios dont let me set it to 1.65, just 1.64 or 1.66. i have read that anything above 1.65 can damage the cpu :(
