    Default Gp45-ud3lr ocing

    So bascially I wanna try going a bit higher with my oc to kinda catch up the 2.0D to my 1066 mhz ram, but I am a bit unsure about settings. But as it runs now it runs very stable, and I really want some tips how to get it onto the 500fsb wall.

    I googled around and found this forum and that it had some nice support about ocing.

    That board may have a tough time running 500 FSB, since it is a budget model.

    Did you also try 2.00B, just wondering as some memory can do better like that instead of 2.00D, not always though.

    That memory may also not be able to do 1000Mhz, are you sure it can? Did you try already at lower FSB with higher memory multi to find out? If not you should, in case it is all that is holding you back

    Yeah I have tried running it as 1066mhz, and it works. Going to reboot now to try some of the changes you did.

    I was able to push the core to 3220mhz and the ram voltages from 2.1 (standard) to 2.2 while keeping the high ratio of the ram, so now the ram runs at 1100mhz something ^.^ with the cpu at decent speed.

    I feel my pc is getting old

    Nice to hear you are getting somewhere!

    Ya, P45 is getting old, but it still has some life left it in for sure!

    Your CPU however is old :)

    If you are thinking of upgrading something I would get a new CPU first unless you plan to move to 1156 or 1366.

    You can find a used 8400 normally for $80-110, that would be a great upgrade for you, if you have a good cooler you could run 4Ghz with one of those
