I have a Rev 2.0 board and I used a USB keyboard with no issues (including the MIT section)

Ya, I know they are always working on USB compatibility, so you just may need to wait on a BIOS update.

    Logitech right?

    How did you guess :)

I tried a G15 and a G19 (and some generic POS as well) and they all gave the same result.

I'm only using the UD3R because my UD7 decided to die on me the other day. It kept giving me a code 88 error whenever I booted.

First trouble I've had with Gigabyte but considering how many of their products I've bought over the years, I guess I've just been lucky

I guessed because Logitech Keyboards are the most common ones that present with BIOS issues, so I knew it was a 95% chance this is what you had :)

UD7 code 88 can mean dead CPU, are you using the same CPU now in your UD3R? If so, did you try clearing the CMOS overnight on your UD7, or even for a few minutes using the button with things all still setup?

If your CPU is still good a clear CMOS usually fixes the 88 error, I had it a few times during a dry ice session.

The 980x that was in the UD7 is now in the UD3R and I took the battery out, cleared the CMOS overnight etc and nothing helped.

It was really strange because I opened the case to switch my 480s around and that's all I did, just switched them around and when I turned the machine back on, I got the code 88.

Not sure what happened but it really sucks :(

Well it's good to hear the CPU is ok at least.

Did you try it with one card, or a totally different GFX card to be sure those were not causing the issues?

If you want I can PM you info on shorting the main BIOS to see if that will help, just had to do this myself this morning due to a possible bad BIOS sent to me. And I had to use a different method than the normal one, if you know the normal one that one failed for me on UD7

Tried it and no dice :(

The UD7 seems to have had a serious stroke and is DNR at this point.

I really don't understand what happened but such is life.
