no windows sees my cpu at 2.66ghz,its the same for 3dmark 06,when i test at 3.8ghz it shows 3.6ghz cpu speed so im guessing it cant read intel turbo boost, same for cinebench

wazza300 you are right it does not see turbo
also it does now see muliuplyer only default for the chip
I just ran test again overclocking by BLCK vs mulitiplyer
    BLCK 160 =4.00 Ram at 10X =1600
    turbo give it 4164.69
this might sound odd but CPU run better using mulitiplyer to overclock then BLCK

So is there any guides for overclocking the UD9?

I just see results but no guides to get these results.

I have the UD9 and the 980X ordered and on the way.

it all depend on how high of a clock you want to go
you can get it to 4.0 just by changeing mulitplyer to 39
    with no other changes

i will get you my 4.4 overclocking settings for you later to night
but it will deppend on the memory you have chose to use as well

Here's the RAM I bought for the board, I also bought it because the heatsinks are smaller than corsair so I can fit my Noctua heatsink.

Bought 2 sets of: For 12GB of ram (video rendering)

    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231306

I want to clock my RAM around 1800 mhz with a good 3.8 overclock on air for my cpu.

    Using the
Noctua NH-D14 with triple fan setup.

Then for thermal paste I am using the: Indigo Extreme

Also I will be lapping the heatsink tomorrow, the heatsink is very uneven.
