Hi tried the jumper but only for 3-5min. It states not to turn the PC on, just let it sit for 20min?

Tried the one stick in but it didn't help.

Your best bet right now is to remove the motherboard battery and jumper the cmos pins for a longer time, possibly several hours or overnight.
You don't want to turn on your system until you are ready to see if your system will boot.

Did you flash with @BIOS instead of Qflash?

Is this your correct motherboard, in your signature GA-EP45-DS5? Just checking to be sure, it shouldn't have flashed if that is not the right board anyway though.

Yes, remove the battery, or put a jumper on the Clear CMOS pins, and then unplug your PSU and press and hold the case power button for a minute to drain the power. Then let it sit for 20 minutes, if that fails do this all again and let it sit several hours.

Don't worry, if you can get it I will show you how to recover

yea flashed it with @Bios that's the only way I have ever done it with this board (DS5). It has always worked that way so I am not stressed atm should be all good. It's sitting there like instructed so I will keep you posted.

Also appreciate the responses, thank you!

That is the problem, sorry I did not point out the flashing guide to you

    Never use @BIOS!!

What has always worked that way? You mean you had problems with @BIOS before and you kept using it anyway? You shouldn't ever use it really, but I'm just wondering what you meant by your comment.

If you do not get it going I will PM you and show you how to short the MAIN BIOS so you can recover the board, but I wont be back until later today so you will have to wait.

yea I have always did it that way, I d/l that file extracted it and it installed it with @bios. I didn't download the file using @bios. That's the way I upgraded to F12. So it is fooked? Damn.
I did try from USB (end) key on post but it only saw the A drive lol but don't have one installed.

I just tried it again and nothiing.

To flash in Qflash with USB you need to leave the USB installed, and have Legacy USB enabled in the BIOS beforehand, the USB must also be FAT32.

Flashing with @BIOS is bad, no matter how you do it.

Do you have fine point tweezers? I can tell you how to short the MAIN BIOS in a PM, but you need needle nose or fine point tweezers or something similar

A safety pin might work, if you break off the end that you secure the tip into, so you have a V shape with needle points on both ends and you can get it to bend and stay close enough together.

It could also probably be done with a thin wire, or thin bent paper clip, if you have your board out of the case and on a box or wooden table.

You will of course also need a steady hand, if you think you can do this let me know and I will send you a PM.

Otherwise you will need to RMA if clearing the CMOS for several hours does not work and you do not want to do what I mentioned above.

PM sent, good luck and be careful!!

If you do not feel up to it, or have no luck wait to hear back from me.

If you do try, either way and have no luck, please tell me what happened so I can tell you what went wrong or why it did not work.

First method is the the quickest and always works on the first try as long as you hold the short properly.

DO NOT SOLDER as instructed by that member, he meant it as a permanent switch, we do not
