Maybe there is a nuclear power plant or something like that nearby. It's always good to have spare cooling ready if they should have problems with their cooling systems :)

I had a Delta fan once. It lasted about 2 1/2 days before I ordered the replacement. As much as I dislike the idea of sleeve fans the Cooler Master ones mentioned earlier claim 50,000 hours, and this setup will be long gone by then, so I may just go with them. If so I just need to find someone that sells a second set of fans clips for a fair price. Newegg doesn't have them and Amazon wants $6.99 shipping for a $1.99 set of clips. I'll search later but if someone has a recommendation for a better place to buy this stuff I wouldn't mind. ;)

Check out frozencpu.com, they sell the Megahalems for 64.99, and fan clips are in stock for 2.99 for an additional set.
I don't know what their shipping charges are, they might not charge extra for shipping the fan cliips.
See if they will match Newegg's $2.99 shipping charge for your unit. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

From the Overclock.net fan comparison, it looks like at best you'll get 1 - 2 degrees of additional cooling with a second fan in a push/pull setup.

You get clips for two 25 mm fans with rev. B. If you want to use 38 mm fans then you have buy clips separately.

It does say 4 clips there. Newegg only shows 2. I guess I'll buy it where it comes with 4 so I don't have to track down another pair.

Edit: Ok, I just ordered it. Should be here by next weekend. I went with the Cooler Master fans. I guess we'll see how good they are. They actually seem to get fairly good reviews.

I've had no problems with the "vanilla" Cooler Master 1200 rpm fans....they just work. ;)

I HATE clip fans!!!!! The pull fan on the left took longer to put on than the cooler did. It's really difficult to get it attached with that 8 pin power connector on the mobo in the way. However, it does lower my load temps by about 22c compared to the Zalman. If this thing were ANY bigger it would not have fit.

Nice to see you got it in there though!

If you did it with the heatsink off the CPU it would have been much easier, keep that in mind for next time you switch fans or clean them, ect.
