Default Wow, How Time Flies - 20,000+ Posts!

    Hi guys!

It was only a few years ago I joined here looking for a answer about a BIOS setting from Janus, but it seems like only yesterday, since then I have learned so much and gained many friends helping all of you here at TweakTown.

It's been great helping everyone, chatting it up with many of you and the Admin's and other Staff here.

Our Admin Mr.Tweak (Cam) has put me in touch with several great hardware contacts, I have also gained a few myself personally too.
I look forward to continuing to help all of you and will continue my few review on various hardware items I personally use in my setups as time permits (have a few coming up soon).

In these few years my post count has continued to grow as I helped many of you, and I look forward to 30,000+

I just wanted to give myself a pat on the back with this thread is all

Since we don't have an off topic section I thought I might as well post this here.

20,000 posts and counting, how long will it take me to reach 30,000?

We'll see next time around, I will drag up this thread and check the dates.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement guys!!

    Thanks Cam!

I enjoy it here, everybody is easy to get along with, and everyone is very respectful of each other which is often hard to find these days!

I look forward to many more years here helping others to enjoy their systems, and reading all the great TweakTown Reviews and Guides!

L, let me also echo the sentiments of thanks and appreciation expressed above. If Gigabyte isn't paying you, they should be. This forum and your expertise in particular is one of the major reasons I started with and recently purchased another GB board.

Thanks again for all your help all the time!

Thanks, and I agree Wazza has been a great help, as have many others from time to time.

Ya respect is very hard to find online these days, it's so great to know I can come here each night and not have to deal with issues that other forums might have.

Great to hear you have bought another Gigabyte board, they are great and it sounds like you have decided the same!

    Thanks for your comments!

I am not paid by Gigabyte but they do take very good care of me with hardware when needed or asked for, and with direct support, so i can't complain at all!

They keep my very happy for sure!

Thanks for all the help in 2009, and congratz on the 20K, LSDMeASAP!
I should be getting my new Gigabyte MOBO within 90 days.

I can't wait to start helping you reach 30K.

It'll be like caddying for Tiger Woods. Well, actually, I'll be more like a gopher underground with Bill Murray chasing me with dynamite. But you'll still be slamming away! (I meant like in clubs on Golf Balls and in keys on Keyboards and not anything else.)

But I'm sure I'll pick-up on just as much as as I did in 2009. The endless exercises in problem solving is priceless. And when its done, I play games on it.

And no more translating memory timing acronyms anymore like with an LGA775 bios. whew, what a relief! (I've studied my soon-to-be-MOBO's-manual a bit.)

The new bios are going to be awesome to tweak.

Did you have anything to do with the revising of the acronyms for memory timings, on the LGA1366, LSDMeASAP?

They match MemSet now don't they?

I can't wait. I'll be able to put 2 and 2 together now instead of just learning to translate it all. (And no more acetaminophen.lol) And it will be my first opportunity to save profiles on storage devises. And having a dual bios will be great too.

After all, Crysis2 is just around the corner. (Q4 '10) And it's time to start preparing to save NYC from the enclave of endless hoards of monsters that will be attempting to confiscate the Earth and all the spoils of War that remain after the devastation is finally over for their invading Alien Race to do with what they will. (Sort of like Unreal Tournament 3. But without any re-spawners. And before, not after, all of the destruction occurs. )

And we all know how important memory timings can be when it comes to a any "Crysis". The monsters won't stand a chance of succeeding after my new build!

I'll be comparing the performance of Crysis on the following:

    1.) LGA775 with GTX295

    2.) LGA1366 with GTX295

    3.) LGA1366 with GTX470-sli

    Does it get any better!?

c ya and congratz again on 20K, LSDMeASAP!
