    That article was at Andantech most likely, and it was on a X48 board so it really wouldn't apply

    For P45 under 400 FSB 6-7 is good, over 400 FSB 8-9 is normal. BIOS settings shown on the left can be ignored pretty much, they are not always what is used at all.

    Set this setting yourself manually.

    If you want to see what is being used by Auto look with Memset, it's called performance level
    Tweakers.fr

    I would not mix memory, it will only cause you issues and take much hassle to get going if you even can

    Yeah that memset program shows performance level is at 7.



    Maybe a bit more MCH volts will allow me to set it to 6.

    FSB is 390 with MCH voltage at 1.22V

    Try setting 52-56 tRFC and then you might be able to use tRD 6, if no luck try it again with MCH 1.24-1.26

    Do you have Driving Strength Profiles set, if not set them and test both 800 and 1066
