you dont want to rush out and buy components if you can help it,test gpu in other pc if it works then you know its not gpu, same for psu which only leaves faulty mb or ram,you could try with just one stick of ram installed, youll need to look in the mb manual to see what slot for just one stick as i dont know with that board,on mine its the first white slot from cpu socket

Tested the video card with another computer and it works fine. I am looking at the possibility that the RAM is not working with this motherboard. I don't see anything else that appears to be wrong, but I noticed that the part number for this memory mod is G.SKILL F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM which is not on the list of supported memory. It is very similar, with only the last 4 letters being differnent, to two other module part numbers that are on the list.

I am returning the memory and trying the new one tomorrow.

    I got it working. Hallelujah!

The memory was okay. Every component was good. It was human error. I looked at this computer so many times the last few days but it took until today for me to notice that I had not connected the cpu power 12V line to the motherboard. I was fooled into thinking it had power because the cpu fan was spinning, but of course that is on a separate power connector.

Unfortunately, I still don't see a set of LED and never heard any beeping codes so I don't know if this motherboard has a built in diagnostic.

Thanks for your suggestions, I definitely know more about my components after this. Now on to the OS and driver install and update stuff.

The problem is that you may not have the PSU or power supply 8 or 4 pin connector hooked up to the north brige.
There is a 20-24 Main power connector on sounbrige and a 4 or 8 pin on north.Try north.

Do you have an HDMI cable and a TV that supports HDMI? Not sure how you tested the HDMI port but having a similar problem with my GTX 670 GPU, in desperation I tried connecting to my TV via HDMI and managed to get video during POST that let me get into the BIOS. An alternative solution that I found that worked is to try a lower resolution monitor (no more than 1280x1024). That worked for me too with the DVI port and I'd imagine would work for you through DVI or VGA.

I'm presuming you are getting no error codes (or error beep codes) after POST completes? Assuming of course you have an internal speaker or the mobo has an error LED display.

Reading the whole thread might have helped!! Glad you found the problem but would suggest you get an internal speaker unless there is one on your case.
