Have not managed to get it to 1.2V without it locking up upon bootup. I have taken LSD's suggestion and ordered a Hyper 212 heatsink to see If i can get the the system to 160 Bclk without locking up, then get the memory running at 1600 without locking up.

The second PC i have has a board that has 4 DDR2 and 2 DDR3 slots - so I was able to run the RAM in there no problems - but do not have another set of DDR3 to run in this machine.

have you tried with just one stick 2gb installed and run in single channel just to see whats happening in the bios regarding voltages?? it might be more stable that way untill you alter voltages to allow 4gb,youll still need more qpi/vtt whether at stock or 160bclk if its freezing up

Have tried with one stick in. For the life of me I cannot get the qpi/vtt voltage past 1.100V.
With the one stick in, BLCK to 160, Memory to 1600 Timings set manually - won't get past the bootup process.
