If you trust that shop then that is a good board, I have used it myself

OC or not, as long as he says it works and is not damaged it should be fine.

There is no SATA issues that I ever seen, maybe that newegg user did not know which SATA ports were which?

Well, I don't really rely on each and every review at NewEgg. So I ask around in forum like this :)

Thanks for the comments, Lsd :)

Ahh ok, ya no issues with SATA on the board I had.

Looks like a good buy at a decent price to me, I'd get it if I was looking for a upgrade from this G31 board. As long as that member has good reputation for selling it should be fine

Yeah, he has good feedback. It's just that he lives in a different city than I do. Will get the Q8400 in a week or two, yet. I think I'll wait for other used mobos that might be advertised til then :)

Ahh well if it's in your price range and you have the $$ you might want to grab it now, unless you think you cold find a P45 a a decent price because I doubt that any P35's will be for sale in a few weeks.

You might have to wait a long time before you see one again, not many are for sale or used these days so it would be harder to find them. Of course you may be able to find a P45-UD3R for $80-100 or so used anytime so that might be better if you can find and afford one.
