    Tested 3 times on High Setting of Intel Burn test-all passed.
    4 case fans as below while tested
    All fans on low except front middle fan on medium
    rear fan discharge, top fan discharge, front middle fan intake front lower fan intake for power supply
    Temps are about 65 max. with cpuid while on high burn test
    Lavalys latencies are around 65's is memory serves me right

    Same as any system, the lower the voltages you can use at a certain speed, the cooler you'll run. VDIMM, CPU VCORE and MCH/ICH Core voltages will all lower power consumption and therefore temperature.

    Is there any chance you can lower the CPU VCore a bit? 3.5GHz isn't pushing it too much, and maybe you can get the voltage down to maybe 1.32V or under. I know that my E7400 will do 3.6GHz on 1.34v, YMMV though.

    Slight negative pressure should encourage natural airflow from front t rear and because of this you would be better having a top rear fan on medium and the front ones on low. Negative pressure obviously means you need more air being forced out of the case than being forced/flowing in. A fan faster than all the others here would have a negative effect UNLESS it is directly opposite the CPU HSF AND the fan is ducted directly onto the HSF intake fan.

    I wouldn't recommend any ducting from the rear of the HSF to the rear case fan as you want air from the whole case to be exhausted, not just from the CPU. For instance the GPU produces a fair amount of heat by itself, and can idle between 28c and 50c and load at over 100c. Ducting or a fan blowing over the GPU directing heat to the extraction may be of benefit. Remember that a Graphics card PCB also acts as part of the heatsink for the card, and so the rear of the PCB also gets rather warm, especially near the VRM's. A cross current of air guiding this heat out before it can rise may have a very noticeable effect on your CPU and board temps.

    Also worth noting is that every time you try and kill noise from one part of your system, another part will suddenly become more noticeable, such as the PSU fan. For me, I have a silent system until I play a game, at which point I have 2 GPU's, 4GB of RAM and an OC CPU drawing from the PSU, causing the fan to spin up. It isn't that loud, just that it's loud in contrast to everything else.

    I assume the Antec fans are all you have? Just IME but I found them to be a bit weedy on low and too noisy/buzzy on medium or high. I'm also not sure what voltages the fans are given at those settings. I assumed Low is 5V, med is 7V and High is 12V but have since been told that the voltages are 7v, 9v and 12v which isn't ideal (for me at least). You don't have to spend a fortune on fans to get silence either. Some regular Scythe 1600RPM fans sound good on 7V. You want to avoid the low RPM fans from ANY manufacturer. Why bother buying a pre crippled fan when you can adjust to your needs and USUALLY achieve a better sound.

    If you want even quieter you can soundproof your case with acoustic foam. It's relatively cheap and works to deaden certain frequencies. It won't so much silence the PC as change its sound, making it less intrusive. Of course if you're really getting into silent computing you'll have to think about either dropping CPU RAM and GPU speed, or going to a full water cooled solution with a large radiator and 3-4 low noise fans.

    Yeah I know about the negative pressure thinghy.. am hvac so have manometer to use.
    Its doing negative
    Even put the front fan in the middle on low speed and it still maintains safe temps and neg press.
    one intake fan on low putting air in and 2 discharge(exhaust) fans on low removing air should not be to bad
    Yes I am using Antec fans with L M H switches
    I also have the cpu fan on PWM
    I don't know why I have the fourth fan in the lower front bay but it does move some air thru additionally for the power supply, backup cooling for it I guess, I have no hard drives in there.
    The hard drives are in the middle bay on the "slide out" tray with the intake fan in front of them
    Might be able to drop the cpu voltage a bit too
    Though I have as you probably noticed disabled Load Line
    This Antec case is very quiet I can't hear the PS here specifically, only the CPU fan as it ramps up and down with load variation and of course the low purr of the case fans
    I don't game so loads aren't that great.

    updated that the latch on AUTO gives very best stability here for the '7300 ymmv.
    you could take this OC higher but this is fine.
    Temps at highest are 63-64 c with core temp on Linpack

    Edit: had some really Hot Hot weather here, warmest since 1988 and had to go to medium speed on fans but thats okay
    Can't stay this warm forever!!
