    Thanks

Please start over before you use these settings!! You are using Fail Safe defaults and this is not good to start with, load Optimized Defaults and save/apply/reboot BACK to the BIOS, then set all your SATA/Disk settings again and any other settings you need to before loading windows again.

This is very important that you do not load windows again after doing that until you go back and set your SATA/Disk settings again, especially if you are using RAID.

Although my real suggestion to you would be to take care of all this at once by updating to the latest BIOS
    GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.0) - GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS

DO NOT USE @BIOS!! Please use Qflash, here is a guide

In the update process you will do all of the above (Optimized Defaults process) anyway so you only need to do it once after you flash the BIOS.

The settings I have in there now, is what I was told to put in there to test for stock stability. So I reset to optimized defaults, then reenter a few settings I need to boot into Windows "I do now use raid" ?

Exactly which BIOS should I flash to ? And is flashing the BIOS....really necessary ? Note that I am not questioning you, I am just simply saying that the F4 BIOS I have in there now has been perfectly stable.

So if you say it needs updating, Yes sir....I will do it. Which one ?

It is not necessary, and some cmos error message will appear if you do, and it is said to be perfectly normal reaction.
But in the process of overclock your original bios may be damaged, and you have to restore it from either the socond bios copy or new bios flash. The new bios flash may or may not flash the second too. My second bios is now 10a and i would have liked it to be F4 original, but somehow it got flashed too, without asking me, so not even my second bios is original anymore.
So what about my settings i gave you, have you not tried them yet. These are my settings i use them.

I do suggest you flash to the latest BIOS. You can't say the current BIOS has been stable for you really because you have only been using stock so it really does not matter, latest BIOS would be best for best performance and compatibility.

RAID, are you using it now? If not then you do not need to worry about my RAID comments, that was only a warning to pay attention to how I said to do things if you were already using RAID.

    @ Yuu

If you want to flash your secondary BIOS back to any version PM me and I will tell you how to do that.

    Sorry I'm late :)

    I downloaded F10 BIOS.....and I have extracted it to a specified folder.

    However.... the extracted files are

    FLASHSPI / Application
    EP45UD3P / Wondershare Safelock File
    autoexe / MS-DOS Batch File

Which of these go on my USB Drive ? I have been reading the Q-Flash and it states : ( You will need to Extract the BIOS file you need, the .Fxx file )

So is the .Fxx file one of those above that I have extracted ? Do I put all 3 on the USB drive ? or ?

I'm a little late doing this, An emergency came up last night, and today had to run to the College.

But now I am ready to go, non-stop.

The EP45UD3P. It's full name with extention should be EP45UD3P.F10, by default windows hides extentions of known file types.
