Thread: Computer freezes after ~1min

    Default Computer freezes after ~1min

I've just switched cases from a Antec Three hundred to a Fractal Define R2 but my computer freezes after ~1min even in BIOS but if I keep it powered down for a while it works for like 2min so it could be a overheating problem...

I've disconnected everything that is crucial but still no go. I've also loaded optimized and fail safe bios settings and tried with a single ram. Any idea? Specs in sig

Yes, sounds like a short to me. Remove the board and see if it starts on a box to be sure, then if it does put it back in the case making sure you use all standoffs in the correct places and remove any you are not using.

You seem to be right I disconnected everything and but it on a box, then it ran fine for 20min. When I installed it again I noticed that I had put in 1 distance to much right below the middle atx distance.
So now I just need to reenter all BIOS overclock settings and it should be back to normal.

Thanks alot both of you :)
