    Ok m8 tried that but it wouldn't boot and when it did I got a message saying that system failed to boot due to OC and it set setting back to optimized default setting, but maybe I did something wrong how about we start again and aim for 3.2 to get me going :) and then i can push on from there :)

    Also is there a way to save your settings so u can reload then without having to put them all in manually?

    Heres my original settings

    you can save the settings to a profile but im notsure how to do it,its in the manual somewhere

    if you clock to 3.2ghz you will have to underclock your ram thats why suggested 3.6ghz because it lets you use 1600mhz ram speed,if it failed you needed to raise qpi/vtt or cpu voltages one or two clicks then re-try,

    CPU = i7 930 @ 2.8GHz

    just take your time,write all settings down and carefully go through each page in the m.i.t section of the bios and type in the settings,heres settings for 3.3ghz overclock you might have more success with those but you should be able to clock anywhere from 3ghz-4ghz+
