    I ran prime...crashed. Sigh.

The good thing is, my temps look good. So I am going to mount everything into my case tomorrow while everyone is taking a break over the weekend, and get my setup started.

I will upload some building pictures as well.

Is there any websites you can refer so I can learn about overclocking? Maybe threads on this forum I didn't see? I think I get the point but I want to learn how voltage works.

Finished my build, looks amazing...You'll be shocked. With the amount of fans I think I can hit 4.6 ghz on air. Btw where is LSD?

Sure tomorrow night I will upload pictures of the inside. Ordering some new fans for the exhaust and thinking I can probably rig up another noctua fan on the heatsink for four fans 120mm/140mm/120mm/120mm

Had to order some fan 3 pin extensions, not all fans are reaching where they should go. So the build will without a doubt be finished on Thursday or Friday. Taking a break to do some filming however I will resume with overclocking next week after this one.

I will also post on tom's hardware, overclocks.net, xtremesystems...Seems like my thread kinda died. Maybe I should start a new thread...

I did, However the settings above listed caused a crash at 4.2GHZ. Not enough voltage maybe? I don't have some settings turned on, Like Intel Turbo and stuff. Does this matter with overclock?

Also how much voltage to actually damage your ram and processor. I pushed my dram to 1.7Voltage one time because I was getting pretty frustrated.

I have little patience rofl, blue screens were funny at first but quickly became annoying.

However I found an article on 980X that teaches what voltage works...here.

yes its the uncore freq ratio thats different for that chip meaning you can use less, for you it would be 2x mem multi or 2x mem multi -1 maybe you would be more stable if you used those settings i gave you but set uncore freq manually, you shouldnt need to overvolt the ram 1.66 is sufficient

Uncore freq ratio, I can't change it in bios.
