If you think about it, memtest recognized 12GB...and so does windows 7 but only 4gb is usable?

I will post my BIOS in 4 hours.
Hope so, bent pins means RMA, so hopefully it's just your settings which it easily can be!

Even with improper settings 6GB can do the same thing

All my specs are at the beginning of this topic, I think I will edit my sig to put them in it. It's G.Skill Ripjaws

Posting bios soon, got the pictures. I will do my sig, I went into the resource manager and it said it was reserving 8 GB in bios. I checked in bios and it detected all the dimms however it says only two dimms are active and enabled.

Sounds like I need more power to enable them...because I don't wanna remove the heatsink ;)

It's nothing to do with power, either settings or faulty memory/bent pins.

Yes and wazza said, PLEASE tell me these are not the G.Skills with red heatsinks

Black heatsinks, The red ones I didn't go for because they weren't my style.

Here's a link to them, they are supported by the UD9...

    Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL9T-6GBRH

Also didn't go for dominators because there heatsinks were to large. My noctua fan fits perfectly above the ripjaws.

rofl one review is only reading 4gb of ram.

Sorry I forgot you said ripjaws anyway! The red ones I am referring to are ones with the normal flat type heatspreaders.

Please use the template for your settings, it's much easier for use to read and advise back that way

Going on a film shoot in 30 minutes, I only have time to throw these pictures up for now. Then I will fill out the template, BIOS is still new to me so it would take quite a bit of time to fill out that template because I don't understand a lot of the terms or where to find them.

However I took pictures of all my bios settings.
