Leaving now just thought I post that this is a common issue with G.Skill and all X58 boards, I highly doubt it has to do with bent pins (because I looked when I put the cpu in)

I'll be posting a thread there to just in case.

is your cpu voltage set to auto? 1.375 seems alot for stock clocks, set to normal if its on auto

windows see's all the ram its just not mapping on boot up is this a two 6 GB set are a matching 12 GB kit

boot machine with 3 stick installed move them a round from where they are so it remaps them then shut down and install the other 3 sticks
    hopefully it will remap right

also i no memory is rated 2000 but try it lower and slow move up so you can make some tweaking as you go

Ok, I will give the remapping a shot. Then I will adjust some settings here and there. Still clueless in terms of settings, I will try to fill out that template the best I can although the pictures are pretty straight forward.

Yes in my signature this is 2 kits of 6 gb... (3 x 2GB)

Rofl I guess memory is trial and error? I would just like to get this straightened out so I can't mount the tray into my case finally.

And jesusss... MY heatsink covers the ram dimms! ****!

No remapping in these boards, it's not needed and when it is it's done automatically.

This is a common issue with ALL memory and 1366/1156 boards, and yep all the possible causes are covered by Eva2000 in the above linked post

Now, this is why I wanted you to use a template :)

You have MANY Settings wrong, and I can't advise back easily now. Please fill out a template so I can advise back, it will be much easier for both of us once you do, I know it might be hard to do the first time for you but the images are all right there so that should make it a bit easier.

Your pins might be fine, and you might be good to go once you have proper settings. If not you will need to remove your heatsink anyway to test the other two possible causes, uneven mounting pressure and to look for bent pins (They can get bent as you put the CPU in, so just because they were fine before means nothing)

So, please fill out a template so I can give you settings back to use and not have to keep looking back to your images, it'll be much easier once you do as I can post some, then you can post back what you tried, then I can advise again if needed, ect.

Ok, I will be back within the hour with the template.

A note on pressure of the heatsink, should you fully tighten the screws to where you can't tighten them? Isn't pressure good for heat transfer?

Yes, pressure it good, but too much can damage the board and or cause this issue and uneven amounts can cause this as well.

Just wanted to report on this issue, however good news. As I was starting up my motherboard using the onboard power button it usually lags with a black screen for a bit before it boots.....It then booted with memory timings at 1333mhz with a box popping up saying that the system had some failure to boot up properly.

However, I looked into my memory timings and all dimms have been enabled and detected by the motherboard with 12GB running at 1333mhz, so this clears up some things. It's all about manually setting up the ram timings and voltage then were in business. Yeah! No bent pins!

    Be back with the template.
