Can you please post images of your CPU socket from a few angles so we can see.

What CPU do you have anyway? If it is 980X you may need a older CPU to update the BIOS, but this is normally a different code.

Did you ever try another PSU? There has been a few threads here where this particular PSU died, and or never worked, for these boards so this could be part of the issue.

Also, have you tried the board setup on a box or wooden table OFF the motherboard tray, with Intel stock heatsink? Try this to eliminate shorts, and also be sure you have your memory in the white slots

While doing this test use ONLY your CPU/Intel heatsink, gfx card, and 1-2 sticks of memory, no hard drives or CD/DVD drives, external devices, ect.

That's all been done with the same results.

It's a 930 so no problem there. I have a new board on the way, should be here Wednesday.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the images, looks fine to me! I only asked because in the past I have heard "it's fine" for days, and then when I finally got the users to post images I could clearly see 2-3 and sometimes 10 bent pins, so I just wanted to be sure.

Hopefully your new board will work for you, sorry that you had to go through all this hassle!
