it could be anything really, could be your ram not supported by the bios on your board and needing bios update before it would work??? if you want them to test mb you need to request an rma ticket,i cant think of anything else you could try but its always best to try what you can first before you send off the mb if you could borrow one stick of ram from someone with x58 setup and try just to see if it is ram/brand idk

yes it is a bit stupid, but if those mb's are sitting in warehouses months before they get sold to the public its highly likely for the bios to be outdated and will get left behind regarding new bios improvements to ram compatibility and new brands of ram being released into the market

if i were you i would request an rma from gigabyte, the board should be under warranty, then they can check the board and update bios if needed as it could be a faulty board too

The motherboard 8 pin and 24 pin cables must be connected.

I suggest you try clearing the CMOS by removing the battery for 30 minutes, when you do this also unplug your PSU and press and hold the case power switch for one minute after you unplug the PSU.

I see you did this, but try it again how I suggested.

CPU should have no issues with your BIOS as these boards are compatible with 930 with all BIOS.

Are you sure there are NO bent CPU socket pins? This would be what I would check next if the Clear CMOS does not help.

Remove the board from the case and put it on a wooden table or cardboard box and see if it will start there, use the Intel Heatsink if you have one to rule out shorts caused by aftermarket heatsinks.

If that does not work then check your socket for bent pins
