Forgive my ignorance, but how do I find out my ram multiplier ?

Would it be FSB:DRAM = 2:8 in CPUZ ? 8 being my ram multiplier ?

    Thanks !

i think its in advanced memory freq, system spd multiplier it will be 8x 10x 12x 14x ect and your ram speed below it

Tried both uncore frequency to 16x and 17x, dram volt 1.6v, qpi/vtt 1.4v ... doesnt boot

Now im back to uncore frequency auto, dram volt 1.5v, qpi/vtt 1.31v

too much voltage will cause loops aswell, you can try with 18 for uncore freq, was your memory multiplier 8x?you might just need one click more qpi/vtt from first attempt

If it's stable now, whats the reason increasing qpi/vtt and setting uncore freq ?

And no, i didnt find the ram multplier. Is this in cpuz 2:8 - FSB:DRAM ?

no,it will tell you in the bios, read through the mb manual it will tell you how to adjust the system memory multiplier spd,its where it shows you your actual ram speed in the bios 1600mhz 1800mhz ect,if its stable now then dont adjust voltages its only if it was blue screening or freezing, manually setting uncore is usually better than auto

Yeah I see the system memory mutiplier SPD settings. So you want me to set it to [8x] manually for SPD and try [16] and [17] for uncore freq ?

Just BSOD'd on prime when i lowered QPI/VTT to [1.31v]

set to 8x if your rams 1600mhz,it will underclock the ram to 1440mhz but the only way to hit full 1600mhz is to raise or lower bclk till you can get closer to 1600mhz ram speed, set to 8x and uncore to 16/17 or 18x whatever is most stable, try around 1.35 for qpi/vtt voltage

    Sweet cheers for that

Booted into windows at [8x] spd and [16x] uncore freq. But I left my qpi/vtt at 1.335v. 1.35 is in the red zone, that ok ?

What does qpi/vtt actually do ?

What should I be slowly tweaking now ? Should I tighten my ram timings to 8-8-8-24 @ 1.6V ?
