your qpi/vtt voltage is for the memory controller in the chip/cpu,with higher bclk and ram speed/tighter timings you will need to raise it,you have to stick to the .5 rule which is to stay within .5v of your ram voltage when using qpi/vtt voltage as not to damage the imc(integrated memory controller) your fine with your voltages anything from 1.3-1.5v is safe to use,if rams rated at 8-8-8-24@1.6v then yes adjust it if not use stock timings on side of module

They are these rams, so I don't reckon it can do 8-8-8-24 unless I should try ? No ?

So now I'm safe to increase my BCLK freq to test what I'm able to reach ?

    Found this review by hardwarecanucks

From the looks of it, I could possibly do 8-8-8-24 @ 1.6.... but the review benchmark shows that 10-10-10-24 has a better score ? I always thought tighter ram timings were better eventhough at slightly lower freq

you can try if you want but i dont think you will be stable unless you use more qpi/vtt which isnt worth increasing as you wont notice any difference in tighter timings,if you raise bclk higher you will probably need more cpu voltage and qpi/vtt

    Thanks for the help.

But I think I'll work on this tomorrow - trying to achieve 4.4ghz stable but not sure with this batch.. definitely doable at 4.2ghz i think..

    LinX failed at qpi/vtt 1.335v.

Seems to like it better at 1.35v qpi/vtt

I bet it can do 1800 (Using x10 memory multi and 20-22 uncore), with 1.66V Dram voltage and 1.35-1.45 QPI/Vtt

Hi Lsdmeasap, at what timings though ? 9-9-9-24 ?

try auto timings and see what it sets them at

When should I start increasing my BLCK to check for stability ?

or should I OC my ram first ?

Kinda afraid of frying the IMC or would it be safe ? Hmm >_<

its up to you,you at 3.8ghz? try with 21x200 bclk now and set ram where you want it either stock 1600mhz or try higher, you will need to raise cpu voltage and qpi/vtt voltage to compensate for higher bclk aim around 1.25000v for cpu and 1.35+ for qpi/vtt
