Ya sorry guys, I have never used one of these so I wouldn't know were to start advising.

My first thought when I saw this thread was "Are you sure it should work in your area"? I mean have you ever used a Tuner such as this and gotten channels to show up?

I don't know how they work so I really can help. What board are you using, and are you using the very latest BIOS?

    As mentioned before
i use all newest drivers and MB bios is up to date.
it works with generic windows driver for some older nxp chip. i see picture i can listen to fm it works. without remote control!

original gigabyte supplyed driver doesnt decode video signal or audio. finds chanels saves them no picture. but remote works.

so my bet is on driver compatibility issues. at least with win7 64-bit.

    still waiting for tech support,
i sent them damn long detail list of my softwares hardware dlls codecs and stuff
i guess its to long to reply in 1 day :D

i believe that by now i have quad checked all settings for my area and driver zupdates and the usual stuff.

You could test in Xp or Vista and see if you get the same issues, then you will know if it is win 7 or x64 related.

Sorry I had not read all this thread, was a bit scared too since I can't really help much.

Good idea Wazza with the codecs! He could also try these for Vista/Win7 (I use these for Vista)

    Win7
Shark007's FREE Codec solutions - Windows 7 codecs

    Vista
Shark007.net - Windows Vista Codec Package

    X64 addons
    Shark007.net - Windows 7 x64 Codecs - WMP12 Codecs

Nope it's not the codecs, i tried that yesterday by removing every single codec on my system and trying ffdshow alone and k-lite alone. Still no go. Also tried "playing" with the nvidia drivers a bit, and still nothing ;/

do you have to attach a power cable to it? it can only leave a faulty card or faulty/bad gigabyte drivers

No, no power cable or anything like that. The device gets installed into a pci-e slot and the only cables you attach to it, are your Internal atenna (or the external one, both tested), the fm-radio antenna and the ir blaster cable for the remote. Also in response to blaya, i do have the s-video cables that came with the package.

Blaya said would install windows vista or xp? so we will know for sure if it's a defective model or incompatibility with the drivers.
