    Default Graphics card compatibility

All, I have an older EP35C-DS3R. Great board. I'm looking to replace by graphics card and, while this board does support PCI Express, I don't know what version it is. The cards I'm looking at are 2.0. I'm pretty sure the MB is not 2.0, but I want to be sure it will still work.

From what I've read, 2.0 is compaitable with non-2.0 boards, but their maybe some earlier boards where this may be an issue.

Anyone care to take a stab at this?

    Thanks.

    Anytime!

Ya they should always work, but sometimes really old chipsets like 965P/975 sometimes can have problems, P35 will be fine with it

Be sure your PSU is good enough for the card you are looking at plus the rest of your system
