Default GA-P55-UD5 F10 BIOS Dual LAN with the same MAC address

After Updating my GA-P55-UD5 with the latest F10 BIOS and then installing the latest Realtek RTL8111D 7.23.623.2010 & Realtek Diagnostic LAN 2.0.1.5 software I can no longer connect both LAN adapters to the router. This seems to be because of both LAN adapters have the same MAC address when left as default settings.. (Advance / Network Address / Not Present). I never had any problems with the previous BIOS updates I have done.

Note: Setting a MAC for each card resolves this issue however this prevents me from setting Teaming (IEEE 802.3ad) up.

A bit of searching has found that several people have resolved this issue with resetting BIOS back to defaults due to the LAN Green function being enabled in BIOS.
This however did not resolve this issue for me.

In short why do both my NICs have the same MAC address?

Has anyone else come across this problem?

Any Ideas how to fix it?

I have already tried rolling back the drivers and yes, installed as admin. All that is left is to try going back to F9 BIOS.
I will try that when I have time.

It's the BIOS, either try a Clear CMOS for 20+ minutes and then load optimized, or reflash the same or a newer/older BIOS then load optimized.

You can check each LAN in the BIOS, on the MAIN page press F9

    Thanks for the reply.

It was in fact the BIOS and a re-flash was all that was required, specifically the Q-Flash setting of "Keep DMI Data" needed to be set to disabled and "Load CMOS Default" enabled.

Realtek RTL8111D 7.23.623.2010 Driver now works as required.
However Realtek Diagnostic LAN 2.0.1.5 still did not allow for Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP/802.3ad) Teaming. Only version 1.0.0.4 let me do this.

    Thanks once again.

Nice to see you got this fixed!!

Ya, I always suggest to disable Keep DMI Data when flashing, it's good practice so older settings are not used with newer BIOS adjustments.

Not sure what version this is, but I know it works and I have kept it uploaded for users who need teaming, maybe it's older or newer than what you are using?

Glad you got your MAC's sorted out though!

Linked file is older than "mb_driver_lan_realtek_rtltool_1.0.0.4.exe" of which I know is the last know working version for teaming.
