Benzagel

MY EX58-UD5 has the same problem just like Benzagel's
EX58-UD5 F13 mobo with F13 series bios has a worse dpc latency problem
when I use BIOS F12 , the DPC latency problem don't annoy me
when I update to F13, the DPC latency is almost about 40000us

and i try a lot of methods to fix this , they are all useless

Good luck getting this resolved. I gave up on my system after replacing every component including the motherboard and Power Supply. So I foolishly went out and bought a new computer. An HP HPE-150f running Windows 7 x64. Guess what? Exactly the same problem. The only common factor is Windows 7 x64. The only workaround is to reboot the computer several times a day.

you might wanna read through this thread, common causes of latency seem to be the c1e and eist power saving options in advanced cpu features in the bios, and easytune and dynamic energy saver(des) software, try disabling all those things and un-installing des

Microsoft virus scanners apparently can contribute to the problem. If you are running Microsoft Security essentials or Forefront, try this:
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

1. Open Microsoft Security Essential or Forefront.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. Click Excluded files and Locations
4. Click Add.
5. Select either of the following paths, depending on the scanner you are using:

c:\Program files\Microsoft security essentials\MsMpEng.exe
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront\Forefront System\Client\AntiMalware\MsMpEng.exe

6. Click Ok.
7. Click Save changes.
8. Close the scanner program, and then restart the computer.

You might also try excluding other network intensive programs like iTunes.exe or iTuneHelper.exe.

Have you tried disabling c1e,turning off easytune and dynamic energy saver?

Or amd's version of c1e,where it throttles cpu when idle

I started a new thread so I don't take this one away from OP and EX 58.
But, yes I turned offC1E and don't run easy tune. If you have any ideas please stop in the thread I started.
