    Hi,

reinstalled windows with integrated AHCI driver and AHCI enabled. Disk shows up correctly in XP. Still not in BIOS, unless set to IDE. According to Acebmxer this is normal.

Great, that is exactly the same behavior I am experiencing, so issue solved. I was really worried to have to take the computer apart.

    Thank you guys!

So time to tune windows installation:)
