It's not the normal 23 fast beeps I am used to hearing with memory timings related issues, or power issues. They are not long beeps either, also not as fast as a normal short beep neither, so that is why I asked for you to ask them directly.

I'm not sure where you are talking about for the voltage regulators, are they under one of the blue heat sinks? Are those even removable?
Thats what I expected. I've had the same run as you have with this board.

The voltage regulators are located under the top blue heatsink and yes, it can be removed quite easily. There are two screws on the northbridge that you need to remove and 4 plastic poke-through clips. Be careful as the whole thing is connected by that heatpipe.

Has anyone with the beep errors (short 11 beeps) tried another cpu fan?

Different Fan, Different header, power supply header and no fan whatsoever. No change at all. I still think the Voltage Regulators are the problem. And the reason they keep passing the board is they use an Athlon processor to test, which only has a TDP of 65.

    well

my psu is not working as is doing te same with my "old setup"

I'm gonna buy another psu tomorrow (right now is 11:30 night) and try it out side the case, but with my old set up yet as we don't know what is exactly the problem with the GA-890FXA-UD5

Well, the retailer I got the board off found no fault apparently. The email says:

We’ve just tested your Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 Motherboard and found it to be no fault found. The Motherboard booted up fine, proceeded to updating the BIOS to the latest revision. The board was then booted into windows 7 and passed several stress test benchmark programs with no fault.

Our test bench specs are as follows:

1X Asus P6T Deluxe V2 (Most up to date BIOS)

    2X Corsair CMV4GXM2A1333C9 Value select RAM 4GB

    1X Intel Core I7 920

    1x Silverstone 750W PSU

    1X Windows 7 install 64bit on a Samsung HD502HJ
So, I'm gunna give them a call and see what they say tomorrow.

EDIT: So, apparently it was a learner with the specs above. Completely understand now. And the board tests fine with an Athlon Processor, so I've asked it to be tested with a Phenom processor just to see what happens. Back to the waiting game I suppose.

I've bought an athlon and the comp. didn't turn on either

I don't know what the hell is going on, my PSU was not broke and my other computer where I test the 1055T is not working either anymore
