I can find a ROM for you, but there is a new one each week so trying to keep up with it is pretty much pointless

Would there be any benefit for my system by updating the ROM ?

I have a velociraptor in ahci mode.

No, there really is no change among the versions as far as users without issues are concerned.

Nope, generally only bug fixes or design changes.

PM Coming with 9.6.0.1014 RAID ROM loaded in the BIOS you sent me a link to. Use at your own risk, if something goes wrong with the flash and you end up having to RMA they may void your warranty.

With that said, I mod BIOSes all the time so you should be fine, but I do not have that board to test this particular one, but all looks to be in order.

Please flash with Qflash and Disable Keep DMI Data before the flash. If something goes wrong don't freak out, I can help you recover from the backup BIOS.

    Thank you , I understand.

I'm willing to give it a try , i know the procedure for the bios recovery so there will be no problem.

Cool, you should be fine anyway I just had to mention all that because I could not test that BIOS myself so not 100% on it.

I did mod it myself this morning though, so you should be OK!
