Load optimized defaults, save reboob, enter BIOS M.I.T again and make the following changes only:
    Code:
    DRAM Performance Control
    Performance Enhance ------------------- : [Standard]

    MCH/ICH
    MCH Core ---------------- 1.100V ------- : [1.15v] << 1.2v if still blue screen

    DRAM
    DRAM Voltage ------------ 1.800V ------- : [Auto] << or 1.9v
See if you still get the blue screen.

Exclamation Re: GA-P43-ES3G + Q9300 randomly timed bluescreen...

Wow Chike! What the hell have you done to my computer?!

When i came home with the new rams in my hand i first installed those and then did a clearCMOS. I think i first tried to bypass to change anything in the bios, and let the comp to boot up windows with the default settings. Needles to say i had a bluescreen death very soon.

Then of course i got angry and changed some of the bios settings, like voltage all to normal, and i guess i did change the cpu fsb to 333 and so on. Again i had a blue screen soon after i started prime95's test.

I tried to change the bios a few times, some changes made the comp not even reach the bios, so of course i cleared cmos a few times.

So now i did what you told me: load optimal defaults [reboot] bios changes (only the 3 you wrote and changed the cpu voltages from auto to NORMAL) and now Prime95's strongest stresstest is doing fine for an hour!!!

I don't wanna rush to conclusions after an hour, but then again whats the difference between clearing cmos and loading the optimal defaults? Or was it me being so angry that i may forgot to test "full-auto" bios settings?

Well cheers mate, fingers crossed it'll stay this way!

[I'll post an update after another hour of stresstest, and another after trying a reboot / starting a game]

edit: typo, btw sorry for my english, i'm pretty sure sometimes i make huge mistakes...

Well another hour passed with Prime95 test... Aw man i wish it was like that all the time from now on...

    EDIT:

It was too good to be true. After 2.5 of succesful stresstest, i just started a game and again bang there goes the blue screen. :(

An option to try.. to clear it up is as pj mentioned.
Test your psu, with the old cpu in if you cant get a spare /loan one.
OCCT will test it for u (just use regular occt cpu test and check the waveform graphs after 20 min ),or u can even try it with the 9300 cpu on normal.
    If voltages go outside 5% on 12v or 3% on 3.3 and 5 v u could have a problem.
At normal clock they should hardly move at all.
OCCT will give you a ripple and noise readout also.
Are you redoing thermal paste (after cleaning with methananol /or alcohol wipes on cpu and cooler heatsink also when changing cpus?.
    Just suggestions.

    VCore test
    3V test
    5V test

Thats a harsh software thats for sure, i started the supply test, but turned off after a few seconds as i freaked off of the voice comin out of my system. If it's enough here are the tests above. They dooesn't make sense to me :)

If you really think it could worth testing a bit more... i'll try to do it tomorrow. BTW the occt cpu test did the same thing as Prime95 -> 5-10 sec to reach blue screen.

What slots you have the ram installed in?
I would try the other pait of slots just to eliminate pissible fault in one of those you have them in now.

If you still have problems when testing with slots 2 & 4, try testing with only one 2GB module installed in slot #1.
You might need to repeat the single memory slot test using slots 2, 3, or 4.
    Good luck.

So update time: i've tried all the above -> slot 2/4 dual, 1-2-3-4 single slot with the new ram(s). Blue screen every time. :( every time i did a 'load optimized' and then changed only the voltages to normal. The tried to change MCH 1.2 V / RAM 1.9 V.

Can you borrow a "better" psu from a local computer store for testing?

    Other options:
    1. Test with a lesser video card, even with an older pci model.
    2. Perform an extended CMOS clear where you remove the mobo battery and short the CMOS pins for at least 20 minutes, sereral hours, or possibly for overnight.
    3. Re-flash your bios using the "Keep DMI Data = Disabled" option in Q-flash. Then start over with immediately loading optimized defaults.

To answer your earlier question, clearing the CMOS sometimes helps, especially when re-loading optimized defaults doesn't fix the problem.

In some cases, re-flashing the bios will sometimes fix the problem, even when the bios re-flash is with the same bios version.
Follow the procedures in Lsdme's BIOS Flashing - A "How To ~ Qflash Guide"
