in PC Health i see DDR2/DDr3 Voltage is 1.808V. None of the cpu or fan warnings are enabled except cpu samrt fan control and cpu smart fan mode = auto.
In MIT cpu host frequency is still 333! to the right i see warning: VGS graphics card is not guaranteed to operate normally. i'm connected via DVI. Is there anything else i should do now. mch is still +0.1. should i set the ddr2 overvoltage?

I meand the big red failed overclock warning. If not settings are +- ok.
1.808V means none of the EPP profiles is in effect, you can set timings 4-4-4-12 manually, and DDR2/DD3 OverVoltage +0.2 and see how it goes. Enter MIT again before you attempt to start windows just to make sure settings took ok.
Don't forget to set Performance Enhance standard for now.

How do you mean you can't set date in CMOS?
Just for safety, you can change to turbo later, though you may get the same results tweaking memory/MCH settings manually.
In windows check CPU-Z memory tab to confirm timungs.
If you can run MaxxMEM² - PreView we can try and improve memory performance.

Once you are satisfied with settings it would be a good idea to tun Prime95/Orthos blend stress for 6-12 hours to make sure settings are stable.

i changed the date and time. i had a brain freeze for a minute. i'm heading in to windows now. i'll try the maxx_mem in a bit. i guess i need to take this for a test ride for a while huh.

    thanks again

Weel run the tests after you have all settings for optimized performance.
What CPU cooler are you using?

Now you ask me that after i have the box put together. i don't remember but i did buy a much better fan than the one that came with the chip.
    Values from Maxx_mem are:
    Memory-copy: 6047 Mbytes/sec
    Memory Read: 5952 mbytes/sec
    Memory-Write: 5636 mbyte/sec
    Reached Memory score: 5.78GB/sec
    Memory-Latency: 79.5 ns
    Reached Latency Score 79.5 ns

What's prime95? You're hitting me with stuff i'm not familiar with but don't mind learning at all

Prime95 is a software that was written for finding Mersenne prime but was found useful for stressing computer systems for stability test.

    Memory timings are 4-4-4-12?
Read may be improved by setting lower Static tRead Value, current value unknow.
In BIOS begin with 7 and reboot, re-enter MIT, and set lower value, boot again, until the computer will stuck in a boot loop or will multi boot before POST. If stuck in a loop, turn the PSU off, and wait 20-30 seconds and boot again, then set one step higher Static tRead value and reboot.
Lower Static tRead Value should result in a higher read bandwitch and lower latency, no impact on write.
