yh 4 physical cores are better than 2/4 with multithreading,i find gta iv stuttery when i play it,mafia2 in comparison is silky smooth so i just put it down to bad conversion from consoles,farcry2/dirt2/crysis ect you should find a big improvement

Yep, I'm hoping so. I wasn't sure if my CPU was bottle necking the 460, but now I'm almost sure it was as even GPU heavy games are seeing an improvement I've been lucky with GTA, I just had a quick blast and everything was ultra smooth for a change. Only thing I really hate about the game is the lack of any way to enable MSAA. In a modern game that's just pathetic :(

Mafia 2 ran on my old rig really well as long as I tweaked the Physx settings. I just had to delete all the clothing PhysX files except those of the player character. In the benchmark with normal PhysX mode (not High) before the tweak I got ~30 FPS average. After the tweak it was 58 FPS so god knows what I'll get now. Dirt 2 was always pretty easy to run but maybe now I can use 16x/16xQ AA which will make it look much better on my 720p HDTV.

yep (H55) with a clarkdale cpu. 'tis the only thing that makes sense really; larger code, slightly longer loading time. contrast against P55 for example and this really seems to make sense.

I believe that's what it is! Larger BIOS for GPU Code and BIOS, as well as GPU Driver too. And Smart 6 programming and reserved space for data.

    I checked which BIOS I have installed, it's F6a

    Anytime!

For your assurance, I think the P55A and H55N I have both boot at about the same time ~ FAST Compared to X58
