Default System Error Message/ BSOD - can anyone tell me what this means?

Since installing Win7 64bit on my machine, I've encountered this error message:

"System encountered and uncorrectable hardware issue

    Technical Information:
    0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA8007D53028, 0x000000000FA000000, 0x0000000000400405)"

    My computer:

    CPU: w3520
GPU: Geforce 9800 GT with 64-bit driver
    8gb Crucial RAM DDR3
3, WD 500 Black Caviar HDD
    Monitor: HP w2207
    Keyboard: Apple Slim Line
    Mouse: Optical Wheel Mouse (generic)
Digi002 Rack Mount Audio Interface (connected via FW400)

There is nothing else connected to this system.

Might anyone know what this error is pointing to, or what it means?

My sincere thanks for any replies and information you can supply.

Error 124 is incorrect QPI/VTT voltage (To much/not enough)

Post your current settings so we can have a look but sounds like you need to bump up qpi/vtt voltage or drop it.

Check my Sig for other BSOD error codes.

    Thank you VERY much Acebmxer!

That may have solved it. I bumped it up to the next voltage and all seems to be ok. I forgot to grab the settings when in the bios, and I just started a download that will take about an hour to complete. I will post my settings after that.

Also, this machine listed in your signature - holy smokes! That sounds like a REAL massive system. I'm jealous!

Got any pics of your machine? I'd love to see them!

Glad that helped you out. How are you testing stability prime95 or LinX?

Well...... ? (says sheepishly) - I ......haven't.........tested---------------with Prime95 or...anything else...? (runs and hides from all the comments about how dumb I am :-)

I understand this is the only way to know if my system really is stable. I will run Prime95 tonight and see what I get....

My rig is not that cool looking, and I don't have water cooling and all the cool stuff like that. I want to, but I don't do gaming or anything - just music software (Pro Tools).
