yes just try it and see if it still blue screens if so you may need to fully clear the cmos by removing the mb battery overnight then load optimized defaults and re enter all your bios/overclock settings so make a note before you remove battery,if its still doing it after that maybe exchange your ram

WEll, I had a mini run of 10 times in LinX before I went to bed which it had completed in 4 minutes without errors. So "why not 500 times ?" I thought, fired it up and went to bed.

As I wake up, I see that it BSODed sometime through the night with the code "0x00000050".

    I'm beginning to think:

1- Is it worth that much effort for I'm no overclocker ? Just return the product and get yourself a more compatible one. I've read that people have suffered compatibility issues with this mobo and RAM combo
2- Or what do I adjust now (btw, qpı/vtt voltage had been pushed two step further before the latest BSOD)

    Hello,

In order to ignite the interest back in this, I'll try to sum up what's been done.

"Optimized Defaults Loaded" as advised. Floppy drive disabled and removed from Boot order list.

Then the following settings have been implied in BIOS:

    CPU Clock Ratio 20x
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) Disabled (All others are enabled in Advanced CPU Core Features sub-section)
    QPI Clock Ratio Auto
    Uncore Clock Ratio x25
    BaseClock Control Enabled
    BCLK Frequency 133
    Extreme Memory Profile Disabled
    System Memory Multiplier (SPD) 12.0
    PCI Express Frequency Auto
    CIA2 Disabled

    CPU Clock Drive 800mV
    PCI Express Clock Drive 900mV
    CPU Clock Skew 0ps
    IOH Clock Skew 0ps

    Advanced Memory Settings
    Performance Enhance Standard
    DRAM Timing Selectable (SPD) Expert

    Channel Interleaving Auto
    Rank Interleaving Auto

    Channel A Timing Settings
    CAS Auto
    tRCD Auto
    tRP Auto
    tRAS 24
Command Rate 2 (the rest of the page is all set to auto)

Everything Auto with Channel B and C

    Advanced Voltage Settings

    Load-line Calibration Disabled
    CPU Vcore Normal
    Dynamic Vcore (DVID) Auto
    QPI/ Vtt Voltage 1.395v
    CPU PLL Auto

    PCIE Auto
    QPI PLL Auto
    IOH Core Auto
    ICH I/O Auto
    ICH Core Auto

    DRAM Voltage 1.660v
    DRAM Termination Auto
    Ch-A Data Vref. Auto
    Ch-B Data Vref. Auto
    Ch-C Data Vref. Auto
    Ch-A Address Vref. Auto
    Ch-B Address Vref. Auto
    Ch-C Address Vref. Auto

    Miscellaneous Settings

    Isochronous Support Enabled
    Virtualization Technology Enabled
This configuration gave a BSOD during the 500-times LinX test yesterday night with the error code 0x00000050.

I've used the PC all the time since I've come back from work which makes 7 hours total. Only PES 2011 Demo crashed twice, not a single BSOD, only a CTD. I could play as much as I wanted eventually. It's been unofficially patched, so the error does not have to do anything with the hardware.

The PC is comparably more stable but it either needs some more tuning or a final, and if so, pessimistic decision.

Since I have to decide on whether to keep this kit or return it in a few days, your input is invaluable, and regarding the progress made so far, I think, with your precious help, we are closer to say "well increase goblinic vDR Frodolinian TechV by +0.05v" or "oh well, RMA the futhermocker >:|".

I'll keep the PC running Memtest86+ 4.10 from USB tonight.

Thanks so much despite I may end up having to return this. You've been amazingly helpful.

if you set this to quick and type in the timings it will set them for all three channels of your ram
DRAM Timing Selectable (SPD) *Expert* set to quick
if the game crashed to desktop but pc was fine its likely it was the game that crashed,

    Ok, setting that to "quick".

And yes, PC was fine after quitting.

    500 times is OVER KILLLLLLLL

The max you wanna run LinX is 25 loops at MAX memory. 25 loops is considered 24 hrs of prim95 Thats alll the stress testing that you will ever have to do even if you were overclocking.

Looking at your settings you have your DRAM timings set to auto set them manually on the safe side of 9-9-9-24 0x000000050 is << Incorrect memory timing/freq or uncore multi. If you pass 20-25 loops of linX MAX Memory the lower timings down to 8-8-8-24 or 8-8-8-20.
Also you need to set Vcore to normal or you need to set it manually. Have CPU-z open while running LinX and look at the voltage that is used while under load then go back into bios and set voltage 1-2 clicks higher then cpu-z said while under load. Retest make sure your still stable and if you are go back lower it down untill it becomes unstable then go back up 1 notch.

Try lowering QPI/Vtt down some you shouldnt need all that at stock settings unless you were tring to run ram speed of 2000. Lower that down a notch at a time till you get BSOD 0x000000124 then go back up.

    PCIE set to 1.5 default
QPI PLL you can set 1.1 as default shouldnt need more then 1.16
    IOH core 1.1 default
    ICH I/O 1.5 default
    ICH Core 1.1 default

Set each one, one at a time and test in between to make sure you remain stable.

Even though your not overclock or plan to over the lower you can run your voltages the better you will be.

Last night's MemTest yields 2.880.000 errors or so and I'm convinced: I'm returning this. This just much more than what's supposed to do for a RAMs "acclimation".

Thanks so much for your invaluable efforts to eradicate the problem.

But, now, the question is here.

Oh and trying to write these messages, I got one 0x0000024 and one 0x0000001A BSODs. So, stability so far is demolished as well.

    Hello,

I'd never like to revive this thread but, upon the request of my supplier who accepted returning of the RAM, I tested each module seperately on the recommended one-module socket of the motherboard.

Memtest didn't yield any errors in any of the modules seperately at the end of one pass for each.

So, what's next ? What does this mean ?

When they were all in, MemTest would start keeping scores of errors from the very start of the test.
