You don't really need Marvell driver to control your SSD. It is a piece of junk anyway. Marvell hasn't updated its driver for almost a year

I only use it to control my WD SATA3 storage drives.

Intel SATA2 will take care of your SSD very well anyway.

have you done any SSD tweakings?

    Guide * Windows 7 Ultimate Tweaks & Utilities *

Also, just enjoy your SSD and DO NOT keep doing benchmaking tests that often, they leave tons of garbage on the drives and make them slower. It will take your SSDs Garbage Collection few weeks to clean them up.

No I have not done any tweaks and thanks for the heads up regarding doing too many tests. I'm about tested out anyway trying to overclock this new system. Mainly using it for Photoshop and video editing. Last thing I need to do is move all the data folders over to the two 1T WD's in Raid 0 and keep the C300 as clean as possible.

yeap. Keep the SSDs only for the OS. Install your Photoshop and other editing software on the WD drives.

    Psyside:

Why do you think that a bad idea. BTW, I did install Photoshop on the SSD but directed Photoshop to use the WD drives for the scratch space. I agree that programs should go to the OS drive but have no real reasons as to why. Since I'm going to try my best and not junk up this system hopefully i will never need to load a program anywhere but the OS drive.
